Wig Styling

Wigs are critical to the success of many a theatrical production, often defining a character and era instantly on stage. Likewise for creative fashion work and commercial shoots, a distinctive wig can create a unique energy for a look.

 

I work with both lace front and hard cap wigs, suitable for anything from local panto up to HD-filmed theatre. I manage wigs on set, produce wigs for session styling on photoshoots, and also take independent commissions for styling wigs specific to a character, to supply to your costume and production team.

 

My experiences here are both as wigs lead - sourcing, styling and applying wigs for amateur theatre productions - and as wigs assistant - dressing and applying wigs for professional immersive theatre productions in London.

My stylistic preference veers towards the bigger, more glamorous and more excessive wig looks! But I can also see the value of an understated style where it befits a character and production.
